Standard set-up for new customers: Standard set-up for new Sky TV customers joining online is £30 with a standard Sky box or Sky+HD box and the HD Pack, or free with a Sky+ box at £99. Non-standard set up may cost extra.
Standard set-up for existing customers: Standard set-up for existing Sky TV customers is £60. Non-standard set-up may cost extra. Activation for existing customers taking Sky Broadband only is £99 for Base, £50 for Mid & Connect or £25 for Max (or £25 less when combined with Sky Talk).
£15 credit: Sky will credit £15 to your account if you join Sky TV online or upgrade your existing Sky box online. Credit will be made to your Sky digital account within 60 days of your Sky TV viewing card being enabled.
Sky+: Sky+ box £150 with Sky TV, £99 when you buy online. Otherwise £199. Only compatible with digital satellite. Sky+ can store an average of 40 hours of programmes. Sky+ subscription required for Personal Video Recorder features (free for Sky TV customers, or £10 per month). Sky selects your equipment. Only one discounted Sky+ box per customer. Additional Sky+ boxes charged at the full applicable standard price. Sky+ box is £199 plus £120 standard installation for non-Sky TV customers.
Multiroom subscription: £10 a month. Provides the same Sky digital channels as your main Sky digital subscription on a second box in another room. You must be a Sky digital subscriber at all times during your Multiroom subscription. Equipment that receive your first and Multiroom subscription(s) must all be connected to the same fixed telephone line at all times. An extra box is required for each Multiroom subscription. If you do not take up the free Sky box offer, a standard Sky box costs £49.
Sky digital subscription: Sky digital subscription required for Sky digital programming. Packages currently £16-£45 a month. Some prices may increase from 1 September 08. Sky Box Office movies/events cost extra. Sky News [and Sky Three are] available without a subscription, Sky Three, Ch4, Five, Five US and Fiver require a viewing card.
Sky+ HD: Sky+HD: The channels you receive with the HD Pack depend on your Sky TV package. If you have the standard definition Sky Sports or Sky Movies channel in your package you will receive the high definition version of that channel if available in the HD Pack. Sky+HD requires Sky TV, a Sky+HD box and the HD Pack (£10 extra per month) and is the new name for Sky HD. Sky+ subscription required for Personal Video Recorder features (free for Sky TV customers, or £10 per month). Dolby Digital surround sound requires a compatible home cinema system. Sky+HD box normally £150 with Sky TV and the HD Pack. Otherwise £399. Luxe TV HD, Channel 4 HD and BBC HD are available without subscription. Channel 4 HD requires a viewing card. Box designs vary. You need a HD Ready TV to experience the full benefits of Sky+HD. Only one £99 Sky+ or Sky+HD box per household. Due to exceptional demand for Sky+HD boxes, existing Sky TV customers may experience lead times in excess of 60 days.
