Delivery Partners

At Digital Direct we aim to give our customers the most efficient and secure service. To do this effectively we utilise four different delivery companies. The choice of which company we use for your order will be dependent upon a number of factors including the size, weight and type of product which you have ordered.

Please note that we currently do not ship outside the mainland UK and certain products cannot be delivered to extreme parts of the UK.

You will be emailed typically 72 hours after an order has been placed determining the delivery method.

Where different items are ordered together (eg a plasma TV and a HDMI cable) they will usually be shipped together. Therefore the largest item in your order will determine the delivery company used from this list:

• VBA Logistics: Large LCD televisions (over 35kg, typically 42" or above*) and all plasma screens.

  These large items are sent out to customers using our own two man bespoke delivery company.
  * 42" LCD TVs that are 35kg or less are delivered by Amtrak.
  Once the sale details and any outstanding financial paperwork have been processed, we aim to deliver within 7-10 working days. Your delivery will be confirmed by a phone call 48 hours prior to delivery and you will also receive a courtesy call one hour before the actual delivery will be made. • Amtrak Express Parcels: LCD televisions (between 26" and 40")

  Once the order has been processed by Digital Direct, you should receive a confirmation mail and the item will be collected for delivery. We aim for all items sent via Amtrak to reach the customer within 3-5 working days.

• Initial City Link: Small items - DVD recorders, digital cameras, camcorders and LCD televisions (26" and under).

  Once the order has been processed by Digital Direct, you should receive a confirmation mail and the item will be collected for delivery. We aim for all items sent via Initial City Link to reach the customer within 3-5 working days.

• Royal Mail: Very small items - tapes, CDs and speaker wires.

  Once an order with only small items has been processed by Digital Direct, items are sent out by First Class mail with the aim of reaching the customer within 3-5 working days.
